For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth.”  Psalm 71:5

We at WPC define our youth ministry as relationship based and discipleship focused. Our effectiveness is increased when we invest heavily in each other. Our mission is simply to “be the Church,” based on Ephesians 4:11-16, and we are continually changing so as to best serve the Lord in the ministry he has given us here. Our youth work in harmony with one another, building on the foundations of the previous years and attempting to graduate students from one level of faith and knowledge to another.

The mission of Westminster’s youth ministry is to Worship God and Serve others, Partnering with both parents and youth to encourage growth in God’s grace, and reach our community and the world with the Gospel.

Ice cream Olympics, water slides, bonfires, retreats, water skiing, hiking in the Appalachians, water balloons, shaving cream fights–you name it–these are a few of the crazy and fun ways our youth have bonded together.  These activities combined with solid biblical teaching allow our youth to have a great time while learning about God and growing in their faith.  You’ll find lots of opportunities to serve our church and our community as well.  Our youth visit the homebound, local care facilities, and participate in missions trips near and far.
